Karaoke Time – Comfort #773

Posted on September 2, 2011

He is forced to sing a lot of karaoke. This means he drinks a lot of gin because he has to be wrecked to get up there. The reason he sings so much is that he never knows when his future wife is coming into the bar. This means he needs as much floor time as possible. He can outline it in his head. She will come in and he will be singing this touching song and she will fall in love with him and they will have twelve children and live on the plains of Africa in a castle. Ahhh, he says, time to get up to sing again. And he sings something like, Oh baby, baby!  In the back of his mind it does bother him that no one cheers while he is singing, only when he finishes.
