The Suicidal Wasp – Comfort #312

Posted on June 25, 2011

The suicidal wasp was on the ledge of a third story window.  Humans were not worrying about wasps anymore, and this was the root of his depression. There was no one saying, oh have fun gardening but watch out for the wasps! People were more concerned with the weather, which seemed increasingly bipolar these days. They were also afraid of Greece and inflation and calories and having a fourth kid (because who could afford that?).  With so much to worry about, no one had time to fear wasps any longer. The suicidal wasp took a few steps closer to the edge. He would throw himself off, but no one would worry about him. His instincts would kick in and his wings would begin to beat furiously.
