Flashy Things – Comfort #02A

She spends time speaking to her lover about who she is.  She rationalizes that she was raised in a specific manner or that her parents were conservatives or that this one friend led to her view on a specific subject.  She asks her lover for his opinion, but he is a chemist by trade.  His instinct is to break her down into carbon and oxygen and hydrogen or a handful of biological catalysts.  She would be more satisfied conversing with an anthropologist, or even better, a philosopher, but she keeps this chemist around.   She enjoys flashy things and there is something about a man who understands fire that holds her attention.
