She asks herself why she is spending so much time sleeping these days. Times are hard, she says. I am waiting for the future, she says, for the good times. This response immediately concerns her. If she is currently spending her time waiting on the future, what was she doing three days ago and what will she be doing a year from now? She cannot even prove with any degree of certainty that she has moved from her bed in days. What she needs is a watch, so that she can measure time and figure out when the hard times will become the good times. Then she will make an educated guess on what a more appropriate sleep schedule may be.

It’s good. But I really wish there had been a Dinosaur Chicken involved.
